I’m going to start learning how to play guitar soon, and I’m looking for a good website to buy a cheap, but good quality Fender electric guitar. I’d also like to find either a pink or purple one too — for a good price.

I suggest going to a music store that sells guitars rather than buying it online. That way you can ask questions, see what your buying in person, and have the tech on staff tune and set up your guitar so you will be ready to play. WHile there ask if they give lessons.

You should get an acoustic to start out though. Because if you learn on an electric guitar it is much harder to play acoustic.

Go to either Guitarcenter or Musiciansfriend.com both are owned by the same company and have been around for many years, with very strong reputations. Musicians friend will send you many offers through the mail after you’re first purchase from them and always have a great sale going on. Difference with Musicians friend and Guitar Center is that when they say they have a great sale, they mean it.

Try the websites that sell stuff. Such as ebay and amazon. You will most likely get it cheap like that.

Get a squier…for a started guitar it’s really great. And it’s made by Fender. Check out Guitar Center or something.

you can buy a good ,low priced guitar at craigslist.,com.amazon.com or at your nearest retailer of fender guitars
a good guitar to start with is a squire stratocaster, they are relatively more cheap and a very good , long lasting guitar.
buy the way , i have never heard of/seen a purple or pink fender guitar i may be wrong though .if there is a guitar shop near you that fixes/repairs guitars they might be able to give it a custom paint job for about $200 more.

ACK! Once again I must rescue a beginner ! Squiers are NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT made by Fender! They are cheap knockoffs made in Asia and Mexico via a licensing agreement with Fender. Therefore do NOT get one of these garbage guitars thinking you have a real Fender. Like the first answerer said “Fender” and “cheap” don’t belong in the same sentence. Buy locally because you can TRY before you BUY -something you can’t do on the net.
