Did you try to tune it? You can buy a tuner and tune it to
    E
    A
    D
    G
    B
    E

And about the neck, you can adjust the neck to make it straight or bent, but make sure to adjust it day by day and not all at once because you don’t want the wood to crack. But if you’re not sure how to do this you should bring it in to a guitar shop. Good luck.

you can tune it all you want, change the strings or fix the neck but the truth is the fender squires are pretty crappy guitars. you get what you pay for, and i’m assuming you either paid 100 for the guitar, or 200 for the beginners pack, which comes with an amp that only makes it sound worse. buy a new setup.
