I bought my son a Mexican Strat for about $180, but that was back in like 1986 or so. Now, Tootie, who plays with one of the local bands down south, has one of the prototype SRV Strats, which was appraised at like 3 grand. Sweeeeet. (If you’re down around El Campo, you know who I mean.)
